WAKE TSI Helps Urology Practice Gain Security

Our client is the largest urology practice in eastern Pennsylvania. Comprised of 24 of the top urologists, including many who are fellowship trained and have advanced specialty training in urologic conditions and laparoscopic procedures, they provide care in 14 offices throughout the region.

The Situation

The practice had engaged consultants in the past to perform security assessments, but did not receive the kind of value they should have from those endeavours. As a result, their security reporting was sketchy and incoherent and they lacked the kind of security training and protocols consistent with the needs of a large healthcare practice.

The Result

Upon being engaged, we provided security penetration and vulnerability testing. Based upon the results of the security testing, we developed recommendations for remediation and ongoing best practices.
